SSCC is unique and progressive in its approach to mental health. Our specialty areas include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, seperation anxiety, anger management, postpartum depression, eating disorders, addiction and substance abuse disorders, low self-esteem, generalized anxiety disorder, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, PTSD, family conflict, panic disorder, relationship issues, various issues related to prior trauma, and common mental health disorders typically diagnosed in childhood such as ADHD, attachment disorders, etc. (PLEASE NOTE: While SSCC provides services for children, teens, and adults, individual therapy services are only provided for children ages 7-years-old and up.)
Our clinicians are highly trained and experienced in a variety of therapeutic approaches that may be useful in working together in individual therapy. These include, but again are not limited to, Cogntiive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Play Therapy.
