Francesca Contino-Jackson earned her PhD in Addiction Psychology. Francesca earned her Master’s in Counseling in Educational Settings, Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, a post-master’s certificate in Student Assistance Coordinator (Formally known as Substance Abuse Counselor), and holds a NJ State Licensure as a Licensed Associate Counselor. Francesca is also a National Certified Counselor. Francesca is a proud student of Rowan University and The College of New Jersey. Francesca works during the day as a SAC within a a high school.
Francesca’s specializations for counseling include adolescents/teens, drugs and alcohol, anxiety, depression, and grief. Francesca uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and she works with clients to help them identify how their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings interact. Francesca works with clients in a person-centered approach that focuses on client’s strengths and experiences. Francesca is Mental Health First Aid Certified as well as Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Certification.
