Lilah Galdi received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University. Lilah holds NJ state licensure as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and has a provisional Art Therapy license pending (ATR-P). Lilah is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Grief Recovery Specialist (CGRS) and trained in EMDR trauma therapy.
Lilah has provided services to those with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss and addictions from adolescents to dual diagnosis to older adults in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Lilah utilizes a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, The Grief Recovery Method, EMDR and a trauma focused approach to help clients feel supported, validated and making improvement towards their goals.
Lilah believes that client’s do their best work when they feel empowered and supported within the therapeutic alliance. By using a client-centered approach that individually focuses on what a client’s goals are at that moment in their lives they can begin to see positive changes in their ways of thinking, reacting and behaviors.
In her spare time Lilah enjoys spending time with her family and pets, baking or making pottery in her studio.
