Samantha Chong is a Licensed Social Worker in NJ with over 4 years experience in the social work field. She has graduated from Adelphi University and obtained her Masters of Social Work.
Samantha has concentrated her time in the field working with children in need of mental health services. She focuses on supporting children with developmental disabilities including anxiety, ADHD, and Autism by implementing evidence based therapies such as IFS, CBT, DBT, and play therapy.
Samantha uses a person centered approach to help individuals connect their body to their emotions. She works to help clients build and develop coping skills to help create and implement positive change.
Samantha enjoys being active with clients and finding fun, engaging ways to overcome challenges, and behavior. She understands that children are experiencing the world for the very first time and may have difficulty understanding daily experiences, feelings, and behavior. She believes all children and adolescents should have a space to be heard and feel safe.
In her free time Samantha loves to coach basketball and spend time with family.
